Well 2009 is upon us, and much faster than I anticipated. I have been working on the needs assessment for this project. This was completed by Jan 12th and submitted to the project leadership team. This team will be meeting this Thursday, and followed by a meeting with the NNY ED’s this coming Friday.
I will be tweaking the plan of work for this project and waiting for final ok from the EDs as to whether this meets their expectations.
In other updates:
The DMLF Team met this past Tuesday, we established our meeting schedule for the coming year. Anne and Katherine are working on tweaking the article template that Anne developed for the team. Once we agree on a format team articles can be placed in the template, converted to pdf and posted on the www.nnyregionallocalfoods.org site. Which for those of you who aren’t aware is part of the NNY Ag Development Program Website (www.nnyagdev.org). We have been able to post the final report from the 2007 project on the Local Foods Pages of this site. As well Katherine will be sending these reports through Clive to all the counties this coming Friday. Thank you Dave for helping us out and financing the printing of these reports.
