One prong of the NNY Regional Local Foods Initiative is to provide resources to other Educators in the NNY region (and with the power of the internet) also beyond this region of NY. In the original grant proposal we conceived of developing a ‘toolkit’ for educators to use when working in the area of local foods, however over the past 2 years it has become apparent that the compilation of tools requires more than a ‘toolkit’ but has become a library of resources which are both physical (hard copies of manuals and materials) that each of the CCE offices in NNY have copies of and virtual located here on this website. These resources are NOT developed by me rather they are items that I have come across in my role as Regional Local Foods Specialist. So use these tools with my compliments and if they help you to do your job better than I have done my job as well.
